The gorgeous Christina booked her session with her cousin for an amazing girl’s day! Christina’s only request is that we incorporate her husband’s dress shirt and tie in her session. I think that is the part of the session she really started to shine.
Recently Brooke shared these amazing words with her favorite photos from the session. With her permission I give you her heartfelt words.
“Real Talk…. Confidence and positive self esteem is something I’ve struggled with for as long as I can remember. Something I’ve managed to just deal with and tolerate all these years. Biggest issue now, I’m raising two amazing daughters who are incredible, and beautiful, and smart, and so much more. However, I can’t help but notice and fear that my poor self esteem and body shaming of myself has or will rub off on them. How can I feed them all these positive amazing words of beauty, when I then look at my own self and struggle to find any positivity or beauty in the mirror.
This post isn’t to look for compliments or any words of positivity. This post is to simply raise awareness on body positivity to all women. All shapes. All sizes. And more importantly, to stop caring and worrying what others see in you, and simply focus on finding and seeing beauty in yourself.
These past 6 months I’ve struggled yet again, with being at my heaviest and unhealthiest, and with finding myself and being okay with the woman I am and the mistakes I’ve made in life. So I changed my mind set and started doing more of what makes me happy, healthy hobbies, and surrounding myself with the right people. At 33, I’m okay with admitting that I’m still growing and still learning.
I’m still working on my positive mindset, in all aspects. But I know I’m not alone.
We need to stop comparing ourselves to others. Live in the moment. Develop Awareness. Stay connected to yourself. Stop judging yourself and others. Let go of how you think things should be. Prioritize your needs. Embrace the awkwardness. Affirm your value and challenge the negative.”
The biggest key to knowing how excited a client is when they send multiple message prior to their session. Ashley wanted to make dam sure she was prepared even though she was so nervous. Photos of getting hair and nails done, mask acne concerns and outfit ideas. I loved every interaction! We are here for you the whole way!
The day of Ashley’s session we had so much fun. So many stories and laughs. She left feeling just a little more confident that day!
At the beginning of 2019 my sister called me. A friend of her’s had just been diagnosed with breast cancer. She wanted to treat her friend to a boudoir session. Knowing the confidence boosting power of a photo session she wanted Angela to experience this before taking on treatment.
After Angela’s boudoir session I asked her if she wanted to document the next stage of her journey. As you can see in the boudoir photo Angela had an amazing head of dark long locks. Knowing she might be nervous I made sure to have Megan ready to do her makeup that day. I’m so happy that Angela was brave enough to show this stage of her journey. Hair or no hair this girl is a knock out!

The Sparkle Squad is so lucky to have Angela in our chair and in front of the camera! She has an amazing sparkle. Here is her take on her experience.
“I have been a sparkler for a while, but have always been nervous about being in front of the camera. After being diagnosed with breast cancer in January, Christine’s sister, and my friend, encouraged me to book a session and embrace where I was in that moment before my life would change.”
“When i arrived on location that day I was still very nervous, but as soon as I walked in the door I was treated like an old friend! Christine, and team, made me feel so beautiful and comfortable! I totally owned it and had a blast! My first outfit was a velvet blue dress that Christine had, I would never have picked out for myself. I felt so sexy!”
“This is an amazing team of uplifting strong women. I am forever grateful for these memories and experience. I think it’s so important for women to feel beautiful in the skin they are in. We will always have things we don’t love about our bodies. Christine listened to my insecure nervous babble about my body, but after she started shooting I completely forgot about all of that! I can’t wait to do it again!!!”

Irish’s is a local Irish bar in Fond du lac, Wi. For the past 15 years I have loved this cozy bar. When the idea came to me to use this as a location I was so nervous to ask the owner. I have no idea why. Thankfully the owner was more than happy to accommodate our team.
This is part one of two series. The most gorgeous Shana entered a model contest I had. She didn’t win but her smile won my attention. I mean seriously. Look at those pearly whites! I had this image in my head of martini glasses, an amazing hat, gloves and a blazer. I will never regret asking this beauty to model for me.
